We built The Black Stag Inn to feel calm, comfortable, and immersive. These policies help protect the experience for every guest—while keeping things simple and fair.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In

Standard check-in time will be provided with your booking confirmation.

If you need an early arrival, reach out—when possible, we’ll accommodate.

Check-Out

Standard check-out time will be provided with your booking confirmation.

Late check-out requests may be possible depending on same-day turnover.

Quiet Hours

This is a calm property designed for rest. Quiet hours are observed in the evenings.

Please be mindful of other guests, especially in shared areas.

Pet Policy

We welcome dogs in two designated upstairs rooms only, to keep the rest of the Inn allergen-minimized and comfortable for all guests.

Dogs Only

Max 1 dog, under 50 lbs.

Pets must be disclosed and approved during booking.

Fees & Hold

$100 pet fee per stay.

$250 refundable damage hold (refunded if no damage/excess cleaning is required).

House Rules

Dogs must be leashed in common areas.

No pets allowed in the coffeehouse or dining areas.

Dogs may not be left unattended unless crated.

Cancellations & Damages

Cancellations

Cancellation terms are provided at booking and may vary by season and room type.

If plans change, contact us as early as possible—we’ll work with you when we can.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the Inn.

Any smoke-related deep cleaning fees will be charged if required.

Damage / Excess Cleaning

Please treat the Inn with care. We’re a handcrafted space with custom finishes.

Damage or excessive cleaning may result in additional charges.
